Patrick Dempsey has revealed that he feels "caught" to his tv show Grey's Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo.Dempsey appears in the show as Derek Shepherd, her husband for Pompeo’s character Meredith.

The duo has worked together since the series began in 2005, Dempsey said they have created a strong bond."Ellen and I went through a seven-year relationship," said Elle. "There are a lot of emotions a couple of experiences - we have good days and bad days."Dempsey added: "We have a deep emotional attachment, so it's like having a real relationship as if .."Dempsey and Pompeo on-screen counterparts have recently been problems with their relationship after Derek saw Meredith has tampered with evidence of disease.

Dempsey suggested it would be difficult for the couple to reconcile, but Pompeo joked that Derek Meredith understands better now.

Pompeo and Dempsey have also been the subject of rumours that both of them perhaps get out of Grey's Anatomy at the end of next season.
