The Tudors DVD boxset makes for an interesting watch, the elegant costumes and the beautiful settings in which the series has been shot. The story of Henry VIII and about his six wives is known to everyone. The Tudors series revolves around this story and explores the other factors like Henry's break with Papacy, the Anglican Church and the related events that occurred in history at that point of time.

The Tudors Season DVD boxset is an assessment of what had happened in the past and tries to establish how it still affects our society today. Sir Thomas More, played by Jeremy Northam is Henry's mentor in the series. In The Tudors, he plays quite well, I like him very much. He is the counselor for the King and he tries to influence the foreign policies of the state to try and bring Utopia into existence. What makes the series so interesting is that there is ego and greed at every turn. The corruption in the State is more than evident and killings of innocent are more than common. During the series Henry orders the execution of Duke of Buckingham, played by Steven Waddington for treason. Henry wanted access to the fortunes of Buckingham for his own use. Catherine too is quite politically intelligent. Kennedy's part as Catherine is quite well performed as he is married to King Arthur and later married his brother when Henry had been awarded the throne to be able to maintain Spanish alliance in England. In my opinion, the main characters play well in this TV show, the more I watch it the more I like it.

From my point of view, this is an interesting TV show, and I love it at the first time I watch it. I’m strong recommend you watch The Tudors DVD TV show, after you watch it you will never regret watching it. The more you watch it the more you will like it, maybe you will watch it again and again.
