'The Good Wife' 2.06 Preview Featuring Michael J. Fox 2010/10/28 9:27:51

"The Good Wife" is taking a two-week break but when it comes back, Michael J. Fox is going to display his potential Emmy-winning performance. However, Fox is not playing the good guy for his Louis Canning is slated to play dirty in a court against Alicia, Diane and Will.

Canning is a brilliant disabled attorney who uses his condition to sway a jury during a test case for a huge class action suit against a pharmaceutical company. Known from the preview, Canning has a neurological disorder which is also Fox's case in real-life. The actor was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991 at the age of 30.

Christine Baranski who plays Diane gushed on Fox's brilliant performance. "He gives an absolutely marvelous performance," Baranski told Fancast. "And the writing is brilliant - it's howlingly funny, it's discomforting. She added, "His character is a marvelously written and performed characterization. That episode unfolds in a wonderful and surprising way. They really make use of who Michael is as a person and as an actor."

Also in the November 9 episode called "Poisoned Pill", Peter's campaign is at a loss as to what to do with rising star Wendy Scott-Carr, and Kalinda reaches out to a former friend, Donna Seabrook, to tell her to stop spilling her secrets to Blake.
