The Chicago-born 30-year-old actor Ben Savage announced August 24 that he will guest star in the fourth episode of the the FOX drama Bones Season 7 as Hugh Burnside,a former shipping store employee and potential killer, which premieres in November.
He tweeted,"First day on the set of Bones,Great show and a very talented cast!"
"Bones" dvd executive producer Stephen Nathan said,Hugh Burnside is a murder suspect who is married to another suspect who has bought a lottery ticket with another two suspects.
Besides ABC's TGIF comedy "Boy Meets World,"which ran from 1993 to 2000 on ABC Family. Savage's TV roles include guest spots in "Still Standing," "Chuck," and most recently, a 2008 episode of "Without a Trace." He is also the younger brother of "The Wonder Years" star-turned-TV producer Fred Savage.
"Bones"dvd collection has been delayed until November to make room for two-hour episodes of Simon Cowell's "The X Factor" and coverage of the World Series. Season 7 will be shortened to 13 episodes to accommodate Emily Deschanel's pregnancy, with spin-off series 'The Finder" taking over the timeslot come midseason.
"Bones" returns to FOX on Thursday, November 3 at 9/8c. The episode featuring Ben Savage is scheduled to air in December.
