Veep Season 6 :Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer (née Eaton):a former Maryland Senator who, in the start of the series, is the titular Vice President, or "Veep", with strained relationship with the President. After the president declines to run for a second term, she begins campaigning in Season 3. At the end of Season 3, she becomes president when he resigns for personal issues. Due to a complex manipulation of constitutional law, she loses the presidential race in season 5. She is divorced with one daughter, but remains romantically entangled with her ex-husband during the first two seasons and the sixth. Louis-Dreyfus has received widespread critical acclaim for her performance, winning five Primetime Emmy Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and receiving five consecutive Golden Globe nominations.Veep Season 6 DVD Box Set The series' 10-episode sixth season premiered on April 16, 2017.Veep has been renewed for a seventh season, which will premiere in 2018.
